Both are great cars, well built and dependable. In my opinion I prefer the Lexus, you get a Toyota engine with all the options of a luxury car. The 2008 consumer report listed the Lexus LS460 as the best luxury sedan of the year.

i'll have to agree with all of you(how could i not since i'm a toy(ota) boy to the bone???:-P) lexus rule...(not that acura are that bad since they are hondas...)

That is the ultimate dilema. Acura has the ability to be a horsepower monger. The Lexus has some horsepower potential but with the Cush of a true luxury sedan. The Acura has a more sport tuned suspension, so the ride is a bit more stiff. The Lexus handles well with meaty tires on the ground yet amply rides like a Caddy. Both have very refined sport sedan styling. The Acura is, however a Honda manufactured product. They tend not to be as good as they used to be. Toyota is still on top of the world with built, and proven reliability. I choose Lexus.

Thanks though for the insight. I've owned, gosh, three Acura's (2 integras and a legend) and they were awesome cars- but the Lexus' have been catching my eyes lately. I guess it's time for some test drives!!

I'd choose Audi =), but I'd take Acura only becuase i perfer sporty rides as opposed to plush luxury ones. Both good build quality and dependable. It's up to preference.

im going to be the odd man out, im going to say acura just beacuse ive seen some mad honda motors put out mad power. just the other day i saw a honda hatch with a k20a beat a 400hp supra with a 2jz. i know i work for toyota but lexus is the only one bringing out the "fast cars" where honda and acura are bringing out affordably "quick" cars that can makes some good power. now when the IS F comes out i might change my mind.

Yah the only retarding thing is that they won't be offering the IS F in a stick?!?!, oh and those quad stacked exhaust tips are fake too. If I'm going to buy a Sports sedan It will be European, the way it should be. NIce effort by Lexus though on the F. The RS4, M3 and C63 are all just better cars though, in every way too.
