I am a Rockabilly guy that loves cars. I have owned 5 Mustangs (2-66s, 82, 85 GT, 93 5.0 LX vert), a 1964 Mercury Comet Caliente, 83 Porsche 928, and a couple of SUVs (blah). When I am done with the Mustang I will be building a 32 Highboy.
Current Projects
I have a 66 Mustang that I am in the middle of rebuilding/restomoding. It was an originally a I6 that I am converting to V8. I am going to be putting in a 345 HP Ford crate motor back with a T5 with a 93 Cobra EFI setup. Updating the brakes to 4 wheel 13" front and 11.65" discs from a 94-04 Cobra Mustang.
Favorite Car Memory
We were on vacation when I was sixteen visiting my family in Charlotte, NC. My dad, sister, and uncle "went to the grocery store" to get somethings for a cookout. I was out in the yard when my dad drove up in my first car, a 1966 Mustang w/ a 289 and a three speed. I had to learn to drive a stick shift that weekend so I could drive it back to Va. Bch.

Now, I'm familiar with that block. Do you know about the small block ford site "www.sbftech.com". It is one of the best, if not the best, SBF tech sites around. If you are not familiar, take a peek, then join. It has the best, no "BS" support group of builders, designers, and out-right knowledgeable folks you will ever meet.
I've done all of that stuff you mentioned. Between the mig and plasma cutter, and air supply, I never would have been
able to do it.
Good luck!

Good to hear about your '66. Where are you at this point in restoring this jewel? What's the bore and stroke on that crate motor you have in mind?
Summer:)
Thank you so much for joining! I really look forward to seeing more pictures of your car!
