I am 17, a graduated auto body technition, a mechanic, and all I ever think about is women and my current car. My fist car was a 1955 chevy belair, my second was an 80's VW rabbit truck, my third was an 80's VW jetta that I got into 5 crashes, 4 rollovers, and one demolition derby with, my fourth was a 1988 dodge daytona, my fifth was a 1952 chevy dumptruck, my sixth vehicle was a 1947 chevy 3600, my seventh was a 1937 chevy joker, and my most recent vehicle is a 1994 buick roadmaster LT-1
Current Projects
costomizing my 1994 buick, puting a cab on the joker
Favorite Car Memory
when I was 11 I was cruising in my POS '55 chevy and got pulled over, the cop asked "aren't you a little young to be driving" and I replied "aren't you a little fat to be a cop" and the friend riding with me pissed himself (the cop was a friend of mine so he let me off with a warning)
sorry it took me a little bit to get back. it's great to hear from you, though! awesome new project--keep us updated. did you send this info over to my dad? i'm sure he would love to take a look at it!
There are knuckleheads everywhere, sorry to here that. You are a brave sole... coming from an old guy..be safe and wear a bucket! .I think your interest in cars is outstanding.

Hey Cody,
Haven't seen anything in that price range since the 70's.Not many sleepers left.I think your on track with the RB motor.Cheap to build for a Mopar, dependable HP.You might also consider a small block,a lot easier to install and dirt cheap.Dave
Hey Cody,
Looks like your going to be a busy guy. Brings back memories when I was your age. I think my favorite is that green monster lawn mower. Can't quite tell what engine but the expansion chamber sure is cool. Make sure you have something strong to hang onto when you crank the throttle. You have the motor, now I would like to see it steer and stop. Hey that VW pick up is just like the little diesel truck I had at my shop. Never put fuel in it, ran forever. And last the little red mopar, what is your plan for a sub frame platform to mount the big block and torqueflite? Maybe a modified K member and some form of square tubing subframe to change it over from front wheel drive unibody.
Don't give up on your projects. Helps out there if you need it.
Take it easy,
Dave
