1988 volkswagen fox

ok so i work for toyota which is right next to a small used car dealer. i was looking at a truck that my friend was interested in and noticed a small, white, fox in the back corner. i thougth it was a sales guys or something untill i noticed a white paper in the window and saw it was for sale. well i blew it off and just decided to go check it out on my day off. they are asking 500 and i got a place i can put it for a while. it runs ok for what it is and it would be stricktly a project car. 4 speed man. trans with a 1.6l 8v (i think) so what do you guys think? yay or nay? i would get pics and as soon as i get my phone figured out and how to get pics from it to the net ill post them up.
